Doctoral Dissertation Outline Proposal Review Needed


   The Outline for a Doctoral Dissertation is definitely outdated and time is up for a review in the midst of such an abundance of theories, the ubiquity of Data and the Rapidity of Change in the PostModern world. MetaData and MegaData are now more than ever readily accessible and have to be taken into account to make sense of new studies and new findings, notwithstanding the influence and the impact of such data on the meaning of the research and thus on the design of the investigation to start with so that its relevance can be settled upon.

And the Psycho-Social Sciences in particular have to endeavor to come closer to reality with their modeling in order to avoid the chaos of contradictory and repetitive theories. And such integration with the real world is necessary to deal with complexity and catastrophe in terms of the breakneck pace of change throughout this quantum world we live in, where the strings are interconnected, multiple, enmeshed, and leading to confusion.

A simple literature review doesn't make it anymore, more contextualization is needed so the results of a research study can be used efficiently in time and space, and so that the scope and subject of the investigation can effectively reflect a dynamic aspect of reality, not just a static picture that is not workable with other parts left invisible or with scant exploration. So, after the INTRODUCTION, an CONTEXTS, EPISTEMOLOGICAL & THEORETICAL REVIEW is indispensable, and then the LITERATURE REVIEW can announce the METHODOLOGY Section with Analysis and RESULTS leading to the CONCLUSION. Too much of the literature in the Psycho-Social Sciences has revolved around flawed and Blurry considerations at the Whims of Researchers armed with dubious methodological tools dressed in savant and esoteric lucubration meant to impress with the mantle of Academia, farther and farther from the imperatives of real practices embedded in the necessities of ONGOING REALITIES. When it's not just a feeble and passing methodological apparatus that is used to save the appearance of technicality without the authenticity of a workable operational articulation of the specific stories.

This first review cannot be left to parts of the Introduction and the Literature Review, as it is relevant to an understanding of the relevant phenomena connected to the Question being investigated. It is concerned not only with the language and methods of discussion inherent to the Issues being explored, but also with the Frames of Reference to Reality that the Theories stem from, together with the adjacent repercussions of the field of connected phenomena. There, it is not only theories and literature that are considered but the Real Contexts they articulate from, MegaData and MetaData. Only then can a Literature Review pinpoint to the relevant background of studies that have endeavored to relatively approach closely related problematic. So in the Epistemological/Theoretical Review, these are BACKGROUNDS, yes in plural, that are scanned for directions, Perspectives and Determining Contexts.
